Job Purpose :
• Contributes towards a performance measurement process in driving business strategies and continually monitoring internal performance with regard to quantity, cost and reliability of products and services delivered by Marafiq.
• Prepare a study that will ensure the translation of Marafiq’s vision, mission and strategic objectives into quantifiable result areas and the development of action plans/initiatives to achieve objectives so that the business has clarity in terms of expected levels of performance and has an understanding of how results are to be achieved.
• Contributes in defining measures and communicate performance levels against key performance areas and targets to ensure that the business is aware of its performance versus its strategic objectives.
• Liaise with representatives of each department within Marafiq to ensure that all business performance measures are translated into individual performance objectives so that employees are clear about what they are expected to achieve.
• Ensure that the needs of all Marafiq stakeholder groups are recognized within the performance measures and action plans/initiatives that are developed so that the organization can build long-term sustainability and success.
• Need to have good excellent exposure on Balance Score Card and evaluating KPI’s
• Assist in Identifying areas of unsatisfactory performance and work with representatives of the concerned function/department to develop action plans which will lead to an improvement in performance.
• Direct the preparation of the Corporate Performance & Development department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
• Assist in defining an optimum organization structure for the Corporate Performance so that resources are optimally utilized and communication can take place in an efficient manner.
• Develop relationships with relevant external institutions and other utilities companies within the Kingdom and internationally, to understand world class performance levels and to benchmark Marafiq’s performance.
Job Context :
• The scope of the role is relatively well defined in terms of the activities for which it is accountable however the jobholder needs to implement and assist the department on performance measurement process across the entire organization. In order to do this, the jobholder must have a thorough grasp of Marafiq’s strategic direction and an understanding of the business’s economic drivers.
• There is a high requirement for liaison across all functions and departments within the business, not only in the collection of data and dissemination of results, but also to examine underlying causes for unsatisfactory performance with department managers and to determine action plans to improve performance.
