1.0. JOB SUMMARY: The following provides a detailed description for the position of Media & PR Officer. Actual duties performed may vary slightly.
2.0. PRINCIPAL CONTACTS: In direct contact with Marketing Manager to achieve the targets.
3.0. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
3.1 Create and execute innovative integrated marketing and web
2.0 content distribution strategies to build lead generation and bolster the corporate brand.
3.2 Overall responsibility for the corporate website including new web design, managing web content and analysis and reporting of web statistics.
3.3 Oversee competitive analysis for products, marketing, promotion and websites.
3.4 Develop and implement media outreach strategy to promote the corporate brand and product offerings effectively in the marketplace, including pursuing/ fulfilling editorial opportunities.
3.5 Develop and manage a strategic marketing plan to position the company and drive lead generation and sales.
3.6 Develop and manage the overall marketing communications budget.
3.7 Manage external consultants and vendors.
3.8 Maintain quality control and inventory of all sales materials.
3.9 Plan, manage, promote and execute all aspects of corporate participation in industry trade shows.
3.10 Provide a full PR service including developing and delivering PR campaigns, preparing communications, writing press releases and working with PR agencies
3.11 Planning and managing media and press events
3.12 Media / PR will organize well-managed national celebrity relations programs with a well maintained and continually developed contact list of appropriate.
