• Assists in the development of the yearly commercial/business development plan.
• Develops and delivers the business development strategy through carrying out research, formulating market analysis and producing accurate business reports.
• Determines new opportunity by analysing business needs.
• Assists Venues and Operations Directorates in developing and implementing strategies for new products and services.
• Identifies means to increase the company's involvement with existing clients.
• Serves as a lead facilitator both internally and externally for project proposals.
• Screens potential business deals by analysing market strategies, financials, available options, and recommending course of action.
• Responding to tenders and information requests in a timely manner.
• Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities.
• Build referral and lead generation network.
• Identifies ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
• Keeping abreast of developments in the company's business lines
• Forecast short and long-range market potential for the company's business lines.
• Communicate to the company’s Marketing Department the yearly marketing strategy pertaining to the company
• Coordinate with the company’s Marketing Department the communication and promotion of business development efforts.
• Assist the company’s Business Development Advisor in preparing the yearly commercial/business development plan.
• Coordinate with the company’s Business Development Advisor client engagements efforts.
